Alone (+1)

In the movie "Alone (+1)", our main character Moritz is a 24-year-old recent graduate living in Munich. He is about to make a big change in his life, planning to move to a new city. He has friends in his own circle who are also experiencing similar transformation and new beginnings. Moritz feels under immense pressure as he tries to cope with these changes. Both his relationship with his girlfriend Emma and his friend group cannot adapt to this change and they are dragged towards separation. Moritz collapses in the face of this situation and tries to cling to memories from the past. The conflict and contrast between the past and the present are laid bare through flashbacks. Despite all these negative feelings, Moritz dares to make his new start and leaves many things behind. However, his feelings about his old place do not leave him alone.

The movie was largely shot in Munich. The feedback from viewers was generally positive. The emotional conflicts Moritz experiences and his process of confronting his past deeply affected the viewers.
