"Child of the Parliament" tells the story of Nino, a young assistant to a politician who is a future Prime Minister. Nino's future in the parliament darkens with a financial scandal erupting in Matignon. In this situation, his father, a former revolutionary and currently a socialist in retreat in Brittany, is considered for the job. However, he declines this offer. Nino's chance of staying in politics depends on convincing his father to accept this job. However, there is a complex relationship between these two characters who have not spoken to each other for years.

"Child of the Parliament" is a movie questioning the complex relationships between politics and family. There is a strong conflict between the main characters and this draws the attention of the viewers. The film also examines the father-son relationship and its effects in politics.
