Fire Bird


A dancer goes to India to find her mother and gets stuck between reality and theater decoration.


"Fire Bird" tells the journey of a theater dancer who escapes from the shadow of the past and follows her mother to India. Our main character finds herself in a series of strange and dreamlike events while following her mother's trail. Masks, puppets, songs; all of these revolve around her, blurring the line between reality and theater. The desire to find her mother drags her to the heart of India and perhaps to the depths of her inner world. This film offers its audience an emotional journey and encourages deep questioning about cultural and personal identity. The film was shot in St. Petersburg and India.
