Like Fire


The story of a young man's encounter with an artist and spending time with his secret love on an isolated property in the forest.


Like Fire is set in the secluded mansion of leading director Blake Cadieux in the forest. The film follows the story of young Jeff, who is invited to this mansion by his friend Max for an introduction to Cadieux. Jeff, who greatly admires Cadieux, is eagerly awaiting this journey and is also excited to spend time with Max's sister Aliocha. However, as they explore the untouched and hostile forest and the director's large cabin, the ideals and quest for freedom of the youth start to conflict with the wounded egos of the adults. The film tells the story of how a young man balances his admiration and love for the artist with the complex world of adults, capturing the audience's interest.

Based on their experiences, the audience found the film impressive and thought-provoking. They particularly found the conflict between the ideals of the youth and the egos of the adults very realistic.

The film was mostly shot in Blake Cadieux's large cabin in the forest and the surrounding natural woodland area.
