Possession

"Possession", set in West Germany, tells the tense story of a couple, Mark and Anna, who are on the verge of separation. Mark, returning from a long business trip, notices his wife Anna's strange behavior. He suspects her of cheating with another man and begins to investigate the situation. However, Anna's lover is also suffering from her strange behavior and doesn't know where Anna is. Mark is determined to find out the truth behind his wife's mysterious behavior, and the story progresses towards a supernatural dimension. The film, directed by Andrzej Zulawski, tells a love story adorned with fantastic and frightening elements and invites the audience to an immersive experience. The film was banned in some countries and censored in others when it was released.
