Akam is a young literature teacher leading a comfortable life in Oslo. Despite living in a small apartment shared with friends, he has to host his uncle from Iranian Kurdistan for a few days due to an unexpected visit. However, his uncle quickly begins to feel at home and shows no signs of leaving soon. Caught between a sense of familial duty and the increasing tension in the apartment, Akam starts to suspect that his uncle's visit is not just a random trip.
