All is Halal

"All is Halal" is a warm family story that tells the determination of a divorced father of Jewish origin to not leave his only daughter in Germany, unlike his own father who abandoned him. Unlike his own father, the dad who refuses to leave his daughter alone, moves to Germany from Chicago to be with her. However, the small town he moved to was the center of Nazi activities during World War II and was known for anti-Semitism. Our father decides to open a Jewish Deli, despite the town's history. This unusual decision leads to unexpected results for both the townspeople and our father. Throughout the film, while focusing on the themes of family, friendship and faith, moments that make the viewers both smile and think are waiting.

The film was shot in one of the historic towns of Germany. This provides visual richness while watching the movie and also conveys the time and place of the story in a more realistic way.
