Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra: New Year's Concert 2024/25

The New Year's Concert 2024/25 offers an impressive performance where the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra's principal musician, Kirill Petrenko, and the star of the piano, Daniil Trifonov come together. In this magnificent concert, we will listen to Johannes Brahms' virtuoso Second Piano Concerto interpreted by Trifonov. The elegance and diabolical tones in Trifonov's expression, as Martha Argerich also stated, uniquely revitalize this work. In the second half of the concert, two magnificent dance works by Richard Strauss will be performed. The enchanting waltzes from Der Rosenkavalier and Salome's dance will captivate the audience with its offensive and almost brutal emotionality. This concert not only offers a musical feast to the audience but also reveals how Trifonov and Petrenko work together in harmony.
