Fathers and Daughters


In 80's Bilbao, a gymnastics team competes in a competition in Berlin under the supervision of their fathers.


The film is set in the Bilbao region, home to the working class in the late 80s. In this story, a children's rhythmic gymnastics team gets a chance to compete in a championship in Berlin. However, in cases where mothers cannot accompany their children, the task falls to the fathers. These fathers seem to have little interest in the trip, this sport, or even their own daughters.

The film explores the relationships between fathers and daughters and how this special situation changes their perspectives on each other. Viewers can observe how the fathers' indifference to their daughters gradually gives way to understanding and love.
