Harvest is a story that takes place in an unnamed village and tells the changes experienced with the arrival of the modern world. Walter Thirsk, a city man, settles in this quiet and peaceful village and becomes a farmer. Together with his best friend, the slightly confused manor owner Charles Kent, they experience the threats of the outside world and the difficulties brought by modernization.
