Kayara
Kayara is a brave and athletic young girl who is set on joining the Chasquis league, the official messengers of the Inca Empire. Despite this position traditionally being held by males, Kayara is determined to break these molds. Kayara's battle is not only against gender norms but also against relentless natural conditions, physical challenges, and even political intrigues. Kayara successfully completes each assigned task and in the process, she discovers the ancient stories of her land and people. Furthermore, she accepts the biggest challenge presented to her by fate: determining the destiny of the Lost Golden City. The film shows viewers how a young girl overcomes adversities and changes the fate of her society through courage, determination, and self-belief.
