Kiki, a 13-year-old witch, leaves her home to develop her skills and starts a courier service.


Kiki is a 13-year-old young witch and must live on her own for a year according to tradition. During this time, she will develop her witchcraft skills and learn how to adapt to society. Kiki sets off on this journey with her best friend and loyal cat Jiji. When they find a town that will host them, the idea of starting an air cargo service using Kiki's flying ability is born. After starting this job, Kiki faces the difficulties of living both with this new community and as a young witch. However, she musters up the courage to overcome the difficulties she faces and make new friends. The film tells the story of Kiki finding her own identity and growing up.

The film draws the audience into Kiki's adventures and allows them to grow with her. Additionally, the themes of finding your place in society and discovering your personal talents offer themes that viewers can relate to.
