Narayan's Three Sons

Three brothers reunite in their family home to say goodbye to their dying mother and confront pains from their past.

Narayan's three sons Bhasker, Sethu and Vishwan come together in the final moments of their mother's deathbed, which brings their families together after a long time. After their mother is taken off the respirator, a swift end is expected, but contrary to everyone's predictions, their mother continues to live and the wait lasts for days. This forced closeness causes long-hidden tensions to surface. Old stories, unspoken conflicts and hidden jealousies emerge, and the brothers and their families increasingly face each other. The family home, once a symbol of unity, becomes the central scene of family conflicts. While time seems to stand still, Bhasker, Sethu and Vishwan have to confront not only saying goodbye to their mother but also the deep cracks in their relationships.

This film reminds viewers of the complexity of family bonds and the difficulty of confronting the past.
