"Obscura" is about the truths revealed by a camera found after Masterton's famous missing six. The film is told from the perspective of a documentary team examining the camera footage found about the missing group. Our main characters are documentarian Alex and his assistant Sara.
As Alex and Sara try to understand the last moments of the missing, they encounter a series of mysteries that need to be solved. The footage contained in the camera becomes increasingly strange and frightening. Alex and Sara risk everything to reveal the truth, but in the process, their own lives are also in danger.
"Obscura" is more than just a horror film; it is a production that questions the dark aspects of human psychology and how far curiosity can go. The audience will be in a constant feeling of tension and uncertainty throughout the film, and will be drawn deeper with a new riddle encountered in each scene.
The film was shot in the isolated and calm nature of Masterton to increase realism. This added an extra sense of tension and isolation to the viewer.
