The film "Silence Breaks the Silence" tells the story of the city we live in every day from a different perspective, through the eyes of a homeless man. The hero of our story is a man who lives on the streets and is ignored by society. The man narrates his desperation and hopelessness along with the tough life he leads on the streets. A world full of people with whom we could empathize, perhaps see every day but never really know, is laid bare before our eyes. The film has a subject matter that engages the audience and makes them think. In this film, the viewer gets the opportunity to closely see the challenges the homeless man faces and society's attitude towards him. The film was shot in the back alleys of Istanbul, a major metropolis.
In terms of impacts and experiences, the film makes the viewer think about the living conditions of the homeless and society's insensitivity towards them. This leaves a significant impact on the viewer and perhaps helps to change this situation in society.
