Summer Boredom


The summer of 19-year-old Raphael Tinski is filled with a girl's love, community service, and nuclear threats.


In 2007, at the peak of emo culture, the ordinary summer of 19-year-old Raphael Tinski unexpectedly becomes complex. Arrested by a psychotic police officer, Raphael falls in love with a girl during his community service duty. In addition to love, a nuclear threat further complicates Raphael's summer. As the film progresses, the viewer sees how Raphael deals with these challenging situations and how his life changes.

The film catches the viewer's interest by showing unexpected turns in a young man's life and how he copes with these situations. Set at the peak of emo culture, the film also shows what it was like to be young in the early 2000s. Raphael's experiences both give the viewer a wave of nostalgia and show the difficulties and stresses that young people experience.
