The Mattachine Family

Photographer Thomas and actor Oscar are a perfect gay couple and when their dream of having a child finally comes true, their happiness seems complete. However, they learn that their young adopted child has to return to his biological mother as a result of a lawsuit. Thomas is deeply affected by this situation and Oscar starts to spend more time with his work. This means that their future is uncertain. Thomas even doubts whether they can create the family life he dreams of as a gay couple. However, the couple relies on their friends, especially Thomas's best friend Leah and her partner, who support them even in their hardest times. While the audience witnesses the couple's love story and their efforts to become a family, they also have the opportunity to see the difficulties that a gay couple faces.
