Things Many Eyes Have Seen

"Things Many Eyes Have Seen" is a shaky diary of time, memory and erosion, exhibited on an island for a month. Hand-processed 16mm images in salty seawater distort and transform. As the landscape flies by in broken frames of light and shadow, the world itself seems to stutter between memory and movement. A meditation on seeing and being seen, the film fades like a dream, the observer and the landscape merge.

The film presents a combination of meditation and landscape that attracts the attention of the viewer. The viewer's experience tends to immerse in thoughts and feelings throughout the film. The effects in the film deepen the viewers' emotional responses and further connect them to the story in the film.

The film was shot on an unnamed island landscape. The uncertainty of the film's location allows the viewer to fill in the film with their own memories and experiences.
