"To Unknown Lands" is a drama film telling the story of hope, survival, and freedom quest of two Palestinian refugee cousins named Chatila and Reda. The cousins, who try every way to accumulate the money necessary for the life of their dreams, come together despite all difficulties. However, Reda's drug addiction causes them to lose their money. Upon this, Chatila makes an extraordinary plan to escape from the desperate situation. By introducing themselves as smugglers, they seek a way out of a dangerous and desperate situation. The audience witnesses these two cousins' struggle to survive, the strong human spirit, and the power of hope. The film sharply highlights the difficulties faced by refugees and the human condition. The film was shot in Athens and shows the streets and culture of this historical city to the viewers closely.
