Wilding
In the 1980s, a young couple, Isabella Tree and Charlie Burrell, inherit a 400-year-old Knepp mansion in the south of England, which is in a rather bad state. By the end of the 1990s, the couple faces a bitter reality: their farm is not profitable and they are in debt of 1.5 million pounds. Their lands are no longer fertile and biodiversity is rapidly declining. Isabella and Charlie fight against traditions and decide to leave the fate of their farm to nature. This is the start of a large-scale rewilding project inspired by European ecologists like Frans Vera.
