Iris, who lives in Seoul, explores her philosophical and personal interests while teaching English and French. Throughout a single day, she encourages her students and strangers in four different meetings to learn about poetry, their own histories, and their relationships with their egos. Iris, who claims to come from France, plays the recorder in the park and learns to teach French to stand on her own two feet. She finds herself two Korean students. She enjoys lying on the rocks and drinking Korea's traditional makgeolli (rice wine) to find comfort. Iris tries to live her life as rationally as possible, but everything is as hard as it always is. She hopes that makgeolli will provide a little comfort every day. The film draws a complex character portrait that captures the audience's interest. It is built on the theme of travel, intercultural communication, and personal discovery.
