Created by Ramy Youssef, "1 Happy Family USA" tells the story of a Muslim family living in America in the early 2000s and constantly under surveillance by society. The series focuses on the lives of the Husseins, the most patriotic, peaceful and absolutely unsuspecting Muslim family living in America after September 11.
The Hussein family is a normal family forced to live under constant surveillance and suspicion from their neighbors. However, they manage to overcome the difficulties by handling this situation with humor and satire. The series addresses the funny and tragic moments experienced by the family during this process through the unique characters of the family members and the social dynamics of American society in the 2000s.
The series both makes the audience laugh and think. This story, which is sometimes tragic and sometimes funny, provides viewers with both entertainment and thought.
