"Love That Never Lost" tells the story of young, idealistic heroes struggling in China's devastated lands. Noble youth Liang Xiang, revolutionary Party member Yang Kaizhi, and Beiyang Wuyou Guard Li Renjun are the first young people to go to Japan to receive training to save their homeland. During a ship trip, they meet revolutionary exiles Yu Tianbai and Qiu Hong, and the five people unite their destinies. The film tells the story of the relationships of these five young people with each other and their loves, the difficulties, successes, and disappointments they experience as they adapt to Japan and fight for their ideals.
