Carpe Diem
48-year-old Tom Villeneuve is released after being wrongfully imprisoned for 17 years. Tried for the murder of his wife, Tom receives a law education during his years in prison and becomes a lawyer when he is released. In order not to experience the injustice he experienced on other innocent people, he decides to defend their rights. He returns to Nice, the city where he was born and raised, and opens a law office there. Always drawing attention with his cheerful and relaxed attitude, Tom adopts only one rule in life: Carpe Diem, meaning live in the moment. In addition, his ambition to find the real criminal makes the film even more exciting.
The film tells the story of justice, injustice and determination to the audience, while also reminding them that every moment of life should be enjoyed.
The film was shot in the beautiful Mediterranean coastal city of Nice. The city's colorful streets and magnificent landscapes offer a visual feast while watching the film.
