A police officer investigates the secrets behind the murders in a Philadelphia neighborhood struggling with the opiate crisis.


The film centers on Mickey, a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood that has been hit hard by the opiate crisis. When a series of murders begin to occur in the neighborhood, Mickey initially sees these incidents as ordinary crimes, but the murders continue one after another, and this draws Mickey's attention. Some clues in his own personal history suggest that these murders may be connected. Mickey is forced to confront his past, while at the same time managing to reveal the dark side of the city. The film takes the viewer through a tense murder investigation on the one hand, and how a society tries to cope with the drug crisis on the other.
