Love of Sparks
"Love of Sparks" tells the story of Anton Pavlovich Klyachev (Odoevsky), who left his family many years ago and became a famous writer. When Anton returns to his hometown after many years, he encounters his son Leonid Klyachev, who has never forgiven him. Although Leonid is not happy with his father's return, there is another problem in his life: he has fallen in love with the local tour guide Sveta Larina. However, he has trouble attracting Sveta's attention. An old spearhead found in the city attracts everyone's attention and is erected in front of his own shop as a monument. Sveta starts to visit this monument during her tours, but there is something she does not know: the old spearhead was actually made by Leonid. The film is about a love triangle where the lives of these three characters are intertwined and about coming to terms with the past.
Viewers appreciated the complex relationships of the characters and their influence on each other. Also, the small Russian town where the film was shot made the film even more interesting.
The shooting took place in one of the picturesque small towns of Russia.
