Money Heist
La Casa de Papel, or Money Heist, tells the story of a group of thieves led by a criminal mastermind, "The Professor", who plan to rob the Royal Mint of Spain and carry out the biggest robbery in history. The Professor hires eight people who are involved in crime and have nothing to lose. For five months, they memorize every step, every detail, every possibility. Finally, when the day of the robbery comes, they spend 11 days in the Royal Mint of Spain, under police siege and with dozens of hostages. During this time, they go back and forth between life and death, and each of their pasts, passions, secrets and conflicts come to the surface. This gripping story is full of tension and action that keeps the audience glued to the screen.
The film has a complex storytelling with real-time narration, flashbacks, love stories, and internal monologues of the characters. In addition, the characters' stories and motivations give the audience the opportunity to empathize with them.
The film was shot in Madrid, and the Spanish capital is the center of the story.
