Bonjour Tristesse
During the hottest days of the summer, 18-year-old Cécile is on vacation on the French coast with her handsome father Raymond and her young girlfriend Elsa. Their peaceful and bohemian lives change with the arrival of Anne, a close friend of Cécile's late mother. Anne, by her nature, is authoritarian and disciplined. Her arrival threatens Raymond's free lifestyle and Cécile's youthful ease. Anne's plans to marry Raymond will change Cécile's relationship with her father. Cécile devises a complex plan to save her father from Anne. However, this plan leads to unexpected results.
The film tells a complex love triangle that triggers the emotional responses of the audience and the maturation process of a young girl. Cécile's youthful ease and sorrowful end both make the audience think and take them on an emotional journey. The film enchants the audience, especially because it was shot on the French Riviera.
