Religious Obsession

The "Religious Obsession" movie tells the story of a person living with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) associated with religion. Our main character, Ali, grew up in a religious family and is an individual firmly attached to his religious beliefs. However, this intense commitment to his religion has triggered his obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The film conveys Ali's daily life, his religious rituals, and his obsession with these rituals to the viewer. Ali lives with the fear that not being able to perform his religious rituals perfectly will incur God's wrath. This situation reduces his quality of life and negatively affects his social relationships.

The film was shot in many different cities of Turkey. In addition to big cities like Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, shootings were also made in smaller cities where religious communities are intense.
