A story about the hunting of the Beast of Gévaudan in the 18th century and the birth of a new form of psychiatry in the 20th century.


"Wolves" depicts a period in the 18th century during the reign of Louis XV when fatal attacks attributed to the Beast of Gévaudan took place, and the hunt was organized at the Saint-Alban Castle. Two centuries later, in the same castle, a revolutionary form of psychiatry is born. During this period, patients and caregivers prepare a theater play. In this process, we witness the awakening of the Beast. The film combines these two periods of history to evoke both fear and curiosity in viewers. Viewers experience the tension and thrill that occurred in different periods of history together.
